“An intergenerational and intercultural dialogue project.”
This project caters to two groups of people; the elderly newcomers and the foreign students in Montréal. The exchange of knowledge between these two groups gives way to an atmosphere of openness, solidarity and sharing.
What are we doing there?
The progress of this project is done in 3 sessions:
1st session:
Creation of postcards to make possible contacts between the peers of the two corresponding groups.
2nd session:
Reflection on immigration and integration into society as well as receiving the cards that the corresponding group prepared during the first session.
3rd session:
Establishing contact between the participants by meeting the corresponding group. Both groups have the opportunity to discuss, listen to each other and empathize.
We would like to thank the Brian Bronfman Family Foundation for their generous support as well as the students participating in this project.
We need your support in order to accomplish our mission of educating and sensibilizing the members of different Montreal communities, and to raise awareness about cultural diversity with hopes to put an end to racism.
