À travers notre partenariat avec Le Conseil Traditionnel Mohawk, nous offrons une série d’ateliers portant sur la culture Kanienkehaka (Mohawk). Ces ateliers ont pour objectif d’enrichir les connaissances culturelles de l’enfant par rapport aux traditions des peuples autochtones, favorisant ainsi le processus de réconciliation.
For years, the Kanienkehaka (mohawk) Traditional Council has been working with different community groups of Montreal to offer children and adults, the original teachings of this territory: The Great Law of Peace and the Two Row Wampum Peace Treaty. Whether the participants come to the Longhouse or the Kanonsesronon (people of the Longhouse) or go to visit the schools and other organizations, this bridge has allowed people of many different Countries, that have come to live into this territory, to learn the most important thing: the culture of the people that are welcoming them.
